Christmas Special

Today we’ll be exploring some Christmas traditions in the UK. I would love to hear what Christmas is like in your country. Do you celebrate it? If so, what traditions do you have? Let me know in the comments at the bottom.

26th Boxing Day

What Does "Eve" Mean? 📅

Eve means "the day or night before", just we can also say "On the eve of my birthday" for example. Although it sounds a little formal, it's a good way of saying "The day before my birthday"

British Christmas Dinner 🎄

A traditional British Christmas dinner includes roast turkey with roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce. For dessert, families enjoy Christmas pudding and mince pies. Before eating, it's tradition to pull Christmas crackers – festive tubes that pop and contain small gifts and paper crowns!
